WHAT IS TARGET PROFIT ?
The target profit determines the amount of profit you want but often what you want is not achievable so it is better to trade with a consistent objective and not be greedy.
Example:
Add 1 Liter of gasoline to your car to travel 1 km, you have more than enough gasoline to complete this journey.
If you want to do 10km with 1 Liter of gasoline, it is logical that you cannot achieve this objective.
In trading it's the same reasoning, setting a target of 1-2-3% is easily achievable but doing 10-20-30% a day becomes a miracle, yes one day you will succeed but just one day.
Lot for Target profit:
If you do 0.10 Lot you can reach a very short target
if you make 0.01 lot you can reach this same target but with a little more time.
Example:
Target 3$ open 0.10 lot profit 4$ robot stop target done
Target 3$ open 0.01 lot profit 1.10$ robot continue until target done.
The sooner you have your target, the sooner your day is over, because in trading the whole market can turn around in 10 minutes or in 1 hour, the market is comparable to a volcano.
